It's this amazing lady's birthday!  I'm so proud of all the things she's accomplished and the wonderful woman she is.   I'm always in awe of the amount of tasks she is able to juggle and handle with relative ease (and maybe a few curse words).  

In the photo above we had planned on spending the day together after her mud run and unfortunately I slipped two discs in my back and I couldn't get out of bed.  Instead of canceling or going about her business on her own, she goes and picks us up lunch and spends the day with me laying around on my bed.  Not many people would do that for another person.  She did that for me.  I'm grateful to have her in my life.

She's a wonderful mother and best friend.  If you need her, she's always there, you just have to ask.  I have always thought she should be an event planner because if you give her a budget and tell her what you want, somehow, she manages to find it.   Let's just say all around, she's pretty freaking awesome.

She spend months preparing for a half marathon.  I may not feel the need to run for more than a block so I can chase down the ice cream truck, but this is her passion.  She runs because she loves it.  I can't imagine how hard it was for her to run a half marathon, but she did it and I couldn't be happier for her!  She's the kind of person that can accomplish anything she sets her mind to! 

Paula,  you're amazing and don't let anyone or anything make you feel any different.   I hope you have a great birthday being pampered by your husband and kids.  We all love you!
